Software Testing and Scripting (for Financial Sector)

A working software satisfies the functional, the non-functional requirements such as security and performance and the requirements on user-experience (UX) and user-interfaces (UI) built with the end-users in mind. In this module, the participants will

• be familiar with the various types of testing, its goals, objectives and deliverables
• learn how to create a test plan, test cases and to define the KPIs for an API testing
• understand how testing automation tools is adopted so as to enhance the software testing quality
• identify scope for API testing and build simple API testing scripts
• acquire knowledge of appropriate approaches and methodologies for in-house, commercial and API-based applications testing
• be familiar with the commonly used scripting applied to enhance the productivity of software testing
• acquire knowledge on best practices for software testing
